The Directors of Gishen and Associates Incorporated are Michelle Gishen and Sean Gishen. Michelle Gishen practiced with her husband, the Late Louis Gishen, in Partnership under the Law Firm known as Louis Gishen & Associates, Attorneys, Notaries and Conveyancers for over 3 decades.
As a result of the fact that much has changed since the late Louis Gishen formed the original Law Firm it became prudent to modernise and strategically structure a new firm. It is a succession plan that is extremely exciting as, by the formation of an Incorporated Law Firm, there is far more to offer aspirant attorneys who could participate in the shareholding of an Incorporation.
We are very proud that Gishen and Associates Incorporated in 2018 has gained enormous traction and is now running after a few years as an adjunct to the original root and foundation created by Louis Gishen & Associates itself.

- In addition, since we are also Litigation Attorneys, we are well versed in further Property related matters and disputes, such as the National Building Regulations, the duties and obligations of Trustees in Body Corporate issues, etc.
- Michelle Gishen obtained her Conveyancing qualification some decades ago, Amanda Shepherd is qualified as a Conveyancer and Notary Public with Sean Gishen (also qualified in Conveyancing and Notary Public) moving to Cape Town, we have two qualified Attorneys and Conveyancers in the Cape region.
- In addition, we are proud to advise that we are on the select Panels of all the predominant Banking Institutions in South Africa, our shortest relationship being a 22 year relationship with the one particular institution and our longest relationship for over 32 years.
